Le Poil Rebelle

Le Poil Rebelle is an alternative hair salon in Metz, founded and run by Thaï Angelo, a hairstylist specializing in creative, inclusive, and non-gendered cuts. Through this space, Thaï advocates for a dedicated approach to hairdressing: an artisanal, people-centered practice deeply connected to each person's identity.

Trained in alternative cuts and natural textures, Thaï Angelo approaches each cut as a collaboration. Listening, dialogue, and respect are at the heart of her approach. Her work is inspired by queer, punk, and underground culture, as well as contemporary and artistic references, to create evolving, long-lasting, and personalized cuts.

Le Poil Rebelle aims to be a safe and inclusive space, welcoming all gender identities and expressions. Here, traditional hairdressing norms are deconstructed: no cut is gendered, no style is imposed. The goal is to support each client in building an image aligned with who they are, at their own pace and without judgment.

Through her salon, Thaï Angelo offers much more than a haircut: an experience of trust, freedom, and self-reclamation.
