My Planet: A view from above and below

A space-themed day on the environment
What do you think Earth looks like when observed from over 400 km up? That's what you'll discover at "My Planet Seen From Above and Below" on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Bliiida in Metz. Featuring a testimony from French astronaut Michel Tognini, biodiversity experts, associations, space-related activities, concerts, an artisan market, exhibitions, an educational farm, food trucks, and even an intergalactic egg hunt and raffle... all these activities for the whole family during a long festive Saturday.
Organized by Rotary Lorraine & Haute-Marne in conjunction with CNES (French National Centre for Space Studies) and numerous public and private partners, this event will allow you to attend a conference-debate in the morning (limited seating) and/or enjoy all the activities in the solutions village from late morning onwards. Proceeds will go to the international children's polio vaccination campaign and to the Avenue of Peace, a lime tree planting initiative between Berlin and Paris.
